Welcome to Balrampur College
As the name shows. Balrampur College Balrampur, in Balrampur Block of Katihar District, is situated on the border of West Bengal This college is in an extreme interior and is a backward area. In the time, when this college was established, there were no roads, and no electricity even the local residents were not interested in education but in due course, its mindset changed and this way today the college with ten acres of land, multistory buildings, large classrooms. playground, library, laboratory, and approach road from the state highway connecting Behar and Bengal, which is only 100 meters away with plants and trees on both sides, has a unique identity.
Now, coming on the establishment its establishment is the brain child of a great man Late Biplab Kr Chaudhary, a land lord of this area. Thus, under the chairmanship of Founder Headmaster of Balrampur High School Late Parmanand Thakur and the leadership of Late Biplab Kumar Chaudhary the college namely "BALRAMPUR COLLEGE BALRAMPUR came in to existence on 10th January, 1984. Sri Rajeshwar Prasad took charge as the first Principal.
